Privacy, in plain words.
What stays on your Mac and what our account server sees.
- Your PDFs
- Never uploaded. Signing happens on your Mac and the signed copy is saved on your Mac.
- Token PIN and private key
- Never leave your Mac. The PIN is used for one signing run and is not saved.
- Your email address
- Used to create your account and send you a sign-in code.
- A hash of your Mac’s identifier
- Lets an account recognise up to three Macs. It is a one-way hash, not the identifier itself.
- How many documents you signed each month
- Counted on our server so the Free plan limit can be applied. File names and contents are not part of the count.
- Payment details
- AW Signer Pro isn’t on sale yet. When it is, payments will be handled by a payment provider and not stored by AW Signer.
- Update check
- The app asks this website once a day whether a newer version exists. It sends the version number it is running and nothing else about you.
- This website
- No advertising or analytics scripts. The account page stores your sign-in session in your browser until you sign out.
